Published: February 17, 2007
Ghana is topping the latest Africa FIFA Rankings despite placing third in the just
concluded African Nations Cup.
The newly crowned champions Egypt are now placed fourth despite their back-to-
back titles. Nigeria's Super Eagles have been bundled out of first place in Africa
to sixth, and slide 26 in the world to 45. Cameroon’s Indomitable Lions are rated
second on the continent and 17 in the world. Egypt move up six places in the
world rankings but remain unmoved in Africa.
