AFRICAN EXAMINER gathered that an eagle eye staff of the school spotted the bomb and he promptly raised an alarm.
The school authority then quickly call the police anti-bomb to the scene as they quickly rushed to and detonated the bomb.
Confirming the incident in Jos, the spokesman of the Special Task Force STF responsible for the maintenance of peace in the State, Captain Ikedichi Iweha said, “yes there was a bomb planted at the premises of Tin city primary school in Jos.
According to him the timely intervention of the police anti-bomb unit safe the day as the IED was detonated before it could explode.
He cautioned the people of the state to be vigilant at the yuletide and report any suspicious person or objects to the relevant security agencies for prompt action.
