The Nigerian Army has disassociated itself from the celebrations and solidarity rallies in its support, for the routing and decimation of Boko Haram terrorists in the North East zone of the country.
The Military Thursday advised those celebrating, to tread with caution as this could be distractive to it.
The Army in a release by its Acting Director, Public Relations, Col. Sani Usman hinted that the terrorists were surreptitiously fanning out of their last enclaves in Sambisa to cause havoc or seek refuge elsewhere.
“Therefore, there is need for all to be more vigilant and security conscious to enable us clear the remnants of these terrorists wherever they might flee” Col Usman cautioned.
The Army Spokesperson reassured the public that the institution would remain professional and focused in clearing the remnants of these criminals on the Nigerian soil.
