Boko Haram Militants Attack Gamboru Ngala Near Nigeria/Cameroon BorderFeatured, Latest News Monday, May 5th, 2014
Several people have been killed in Gamboru Ngala town in Borno state following Boko Haram militant attack on the border town between Nigeria and Republic of Cameroon.
The sect militants also burnt houses and killed those they found inside sat they chanted ‘Allahu akbar’ and other war songs during the raid on the township, said a military source .
The islamic militants also stole bags of foodstuffs and escaped with them in several vehicles.
The source said some residents of the area fled to safe locations in neighboring Cameroon close to the Gamboru Ngala town.
The Defence Headquarters supervising military operations in Borno, Yobe and Adamawa states are yet to issue a statement regarding the latest attacks
