After months of uncontested speculations, President Goodluck Jonathan has broken his long silence on the 2015 Presidential contest as he declared today in FCT Abuja, to seek re – election.

Jonathan, who has recently been adopted by the ruling PDP top hierarchy as its Presidential consensus candidate, bared his mind to the party leadership in the Presidential Villa later Thursday.

Mr. President who had simultaneously constituted his Presidential declaration committee, with the former Defence Minister, Dr. Haliru Bello, as the chairman, specified that he would re – contest and ensure he obtains his expression and nomination forms at the party’s national secretariat, Abuja before deadline.

His formal declaration is expected to hold between Friday, November 7, and Saturday, 15, 2014.

It would be recalled various Jonathan second term ambition support groups, notably, the Transformation Ambassadors Of Nigeria (TAN) have been junketing the country’s geo political zones to collect signatures to express support for the country’s present leader.
