BALTIMORE, MD (AFRICAN EXAMINER) – One of the Nigerian foremost administrator, technocrat and industrialist, Mr. Gamaliel Onasode is dead.
The late industrialist NAN reports Tuesday, died at the age of 82.
Meanwhile, Ese, late Onasode’s son in a statement he signed confirmed that his father died Tuesday at 8.15am.
Buhari Condoles Onosode’s Family
President Muhammadu Buhari has extended his condolences to the family of Mr. Gamaliel Onosode, who died Tuesday at the age of 82.
Buhari in a statement by his SA on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina, also commiserated with the government and people of Delta State and the Nigerian Baptist Convention on the death of Onosode who he described as an “illustrious son and evangelist.”
“President Buhari believes that Mr. Onosode will be long remembered as an exemplary citizen and leader who made very significant contributions to national development.
“The President urges his family, friends, associates and other Nigerians to honour Mr. Onosode’s memory by upholding the virtues of integrity, honesty and dedication to service, which he passionately promoted in his long and highly successful career in the private and public sectors”.
