Breaking News: Great Nigeria House, Lagos on Fire

The Great Nigeria House, a 25-storey building along Martins Street, off Balogun, on the Marina, Lagos Island is on fire. It housed banks and other businesses.
As at the time of at the time of filing this report, properties worth millions of Naira have been destroyed. The Federal and State Fire Services are battling to quench the inferno which started around 6:30am.
The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA); Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA); the Police; Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, (NSCDC) are on ground to manage the situation.
No fewer than 12 trucks of water have been expended on the raging inferno which has affected the first two blocks of the 25 storey building and extended to the third building.
No life was lost.
