Breaking News: NUT Remains Adamant, Says Members Will Not Resume September 22

The Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT) has directed its members nationwide not to resume on Monday, September 22, 2014 as directed by the Federal government.

The Union called on government to provide all necessary facilities and make them available in all schools until all cases of Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) were treated and the outbreak was totally eradicated.

This was made known Tuesday, after a meeting of NUT leadership.

It would be recalled NUT National President, Michael Olukoya promised yesterday that the body’s EXCO would meet, deliberate and resolve on the matter.
