Buhari Writes NASS To Present 2017 Budget December 14

ABUJA, NIGERIA (AFRICAN EXAMINER) – President Muhammadu Buhari has informed the National Assembly (NASS) about his readiness to present the 2017 Appropriation Bill to the joint session of the legislative house next week.

Senate President Bukola Saraki read Mr. President’s letter Tuesday at the plenary session to the lawmakers.
He informed that President Buhari has indicated interest to do the presentation next week Wednesday, December 14, 2016.

The Minister of Budget and National Planning, Senator Udo Udoma, recently confirmed that the 2017 Appropriation Bill would be presented ealier to NASS, so as to avoid delay and challenges the 2016 Appropriation Bill suffered before it was signed into law.
