President of the CAC  worldwide, Pastor E.H.L. Olusheye visits USA  May
21st  to commission the church’s $2.1 million multi purpose hall

The President of the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC)  worldwide, Pastor E.H.L.
Olusheye will on Wednesday May  21st, 2009 to Sunday May 24th, 2009  be  in
the United States of America for  a five-day mission visit to commission phase 1
of the church’s multi-purpose hall.

This was contained  in a press statement issued by Pastor Yomi Akinnola , the
secretary of Washington Districts’ coordinating council of the Christ Apostolic
Church. The Washington district coordinates activities of the CAC in Maryland,
Washington, DC and Virginia.

    According to the statement, “God has
    been doing wonders in this Assembly
    culminating to the dedication of Phase 1
    of the church’s project which has gulped
    over $2.1m while the Phase 2 will begin
    as soon as God permits. The construction
    of the project started with ground
    breaking in March, 2007.’’

    “The construction of the project  was
    made possible by God and the members
    of the Headquarters assembly which
    started from a humble beginning in the
    early part of 1983 first, from the 6th street
    to 11th street and finally moved to the
    present premises in 1985.’’ the statement
    said.


The statement also reads in part “It is therefore a thing of joy that such event of
this magnitude is happening within the tenure of the President of this Mission
who has contributed so much to move the CAC forward despite all odds, since
he assumed office as the Overseer of the mission over a decade ago”

“God has used this man of God to bring the Church together by taking them out
of crisis that nearly tore the church apart. God equally used him with the
support of other Leaders of the church to establish JOSEPH AYO BABALOLA
UNIVERSITY(JABU) at Ikeji Arakeji in Ijeshaland , Osun state, Nigeria on the very
ground that the Lord called the founder of the Mission, Late Apostle Ayo
Babalola of blessed memory”


“It is during his tenure that Christ Apostolic Church now has an ultra modern
church secretariat very close to Radio O.Y.O in Ibadan, Nigeria. He is a man of
peace and that is why God has used him to bring all factions within the fold
together. Suffice to mention that the Christ Apostolic Church is really spreading
and achieving even in the United States of America.”

“Our Bethel Fellowship have at various times in the last few years constructed
their own fellowship buildings in Atlanta, Georgia and  Maryland.”
