The Ijaw Leader, Chief Edwin Clark has threatened to expose the corruption perpetrated by the presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress, General Mohammadu Buhari when he was in charge of the Petroleum Trust Fund, PTF.
Clark said that under the watchful eyes of Buhari, N25 billion was squandered in PTF and the money is missing till date.
He stated this on Monday when he received Northern Youth under the aegis of Northern Youth For Positive Change in Abuja.
“Obasanjo and Buhari are the most corrupt leaders in Nigeria today. As the head of the PTF, he brought 3 Consultants to work and sidelined members of the board of PTF including J. P. P Clark my brother.
“Obasanjo set up panel of inquiry to probe PTF and it was discovered that N25 billion was missing and the money is missing till date.
“Those who are corrupt are the one shouting corruption today. If we say some people are corrupt, then it is Obasanjo and Atiku.
“They accused themselves of squandering money belonging to the Petroleum Development Trust Fund, PTDF when they were in office”.
On the controversial issue of Buhari’s certificates, Clark said that it was shameful that the qualification of a former head of state is being called to question.
He however appealed to the northern youths and other stakeholders against violence saying that Nigeria belongs to all and no section can go it alone adding that no religion can also form government alone.
