Imo state governor, Rochas Okorocha has applauded the move by five of the G-7 rebel governors who defected to opposition All Progressive Congress APC, early this week.

He disclosed that more governors are at the verge of joining the party.
Governor Okorocha spoke Friday at the Sam Mbakwe International Cargo Airport Owerri on arrival from Abuja.
He maintained that the defection will further strengthen democracy in the country, and bring to bear the realisation of two party systems.
The Imo state chief executive noted that he had earlier predicted the crossover of aggrieved governors to APC, adding that the country is now heading to a two party system which would create opportunity for comfort and freedom synonymous with healthy democracy.
