The Defence Headquarters (DHQ) confirmed Thursday that its troops of 7 Division Garrison, apprehended Tuesday an 11 year old boy, Master Usman Modu Tella – a potential suicide bomber.
Young Tella who DHQ said was tagged number 82 on the poster containing the photographs of 100 wanted suspected Boko Haram terrorists, was nabbed by the troops who providing security at the Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) Camp, Dalori in Maiduguri Metropolitan Council, Borno State, North East Nigeria.

He is suspect number 82 on the poster containing the photographs of 100 wanted suspected Boko Haram terrorists released by the Nigerian Army.
Defence indicated that the preliminary investigation revealed that the teenage suspect was from Bama town and was among four under age trained for suicide bombing by the Boko Haram terrorists.
He was said to have confessed that the three others have already carried out their missions at different locations, claiming that his job was to do same in the camp sometime in the future.
The Military added the young suspect confirmed that one Boko Haram senior member, Alhaji Kerewu Abubakar was once at the camp.
Defence said the case of the suspects confirmed the need for proper screening of all IDPs with a view to ascertain their true identity, adding that the latest arrest was a boost to the fight against terrorism and insurgency in particular, investigations that would lead to the arrest of more suspected terrorists in the camp and elsewhere.
