In a statement issues in Abuja and signed by the Chairman of its Coordinating Council, Comrade Ifedayo Ogunlana, the group stated that all eyes are on the delegates to the conference and that the realization of the Yoruba agenda must be pursued by all means necessary by delegates working in concert with other progressives.

According to the group, “’we are watching with keen interest the debate at the ongoing national conference and we want to sound a note of warning to all delegates of Yoruba extraction that they must pursue the Yoruba agenda that was adopted in Ibadan vigorously and ensure that they collectively defend it. No individual or group interest must override the collective interest of the Yoruba people. Also, dire consequence awaits anyone that betrays the people of Yoruba land.”
