BALTIMORE, MD (AFRICAN EXAMINER) – Former Arsenal Goalkeeper David Seaman has urged the English club side to renew contract with the Manger, Arsene Wenger.
Seaman said: “I hope he stays, they should go all out to keep him.”
The 66-year-old Manager has won nine major trophies with Arsenal and marked his 20 years in charge, on September 30, 2016.
Wenger’s contract will expire at the end of the season and discussions on renewal are yet to take place.
The Coach has been criticized for his failure to win the Premier League title since guiding the Invincible side of 2004 through the entire campaign unbeaten.
Arsenal did not win a trophy between 2005 and their FA Cup final success against Hull in 2014 and many prominent supporters think it is time for a change
While still with the Arsenal, Seaman, won three league titles, four FA Cups and a League Cup in his 14 years stay at the club.
