Ikpeazu Supporters Stage Solidarity Protest In Abia

ABIA, NIGERIA (AFRICAN EXAMINER) – Supporters of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu, of Abia state paralysed socio and economic activities in the commercial city of Aba, over certificate of return issued to Uche Ogah by the Independent National electoral Commission, (INEC) on Thursday in Abuja.
The protesters blocked major roads, chanting solidarity songs such as “No Ikpeazu” No Abia state”
They however vowed to continue with the protest should the Governor be sacked from office.
Meanwhile, the Governor’s supporters have also jubilated over the ruling of an Abia State High Court which restrained the State CJ from swearing-in Uche Ogah despite Certificate of Return issued him by the INEC.
