Jonathan Names Danjuma, Adeola others as Steering committee Members on Safe Schools Initiative Funds

President Goodluck Jonathan has named former Defence Minister, General Theophilus Danjuma, seasoned banker, Mr. Fola Adeola and seven others as members of the Presidential Steering Committee for the Safe Schools Initiative and Victims’ Support Fund, for the benefits of the abducted Chibok Secondary School girls.

The committee which is to be headed by General Danjuma also comprises Muhammad Indimi, an industrialist and oil mogul Mrs Folorunso Alakija and five other members.

The committee’s terms of reference include among others how to ensure proper utilization of N30 billion support fund to take proper care of the over 200 kidnapped girls and their families.

President Jonathan is expected to inaugurate the committee on Wednesday.
