Jonathan Nominates FRSC Boss, Others for Ministerial Appointments

President Goodluck Jonathan has nominated Mr Ositadinma Chidoka as a minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

He president also nominated Dr. Suleiman Abubakar, a lecturer with the University of Abuja for confirmation as minister.

Chidoka who is currently the Corps Marshall of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) will take the slot of Anambra State in the federal executive council.

He will replace Ms. Stella Oduah, former Minister of Aviation, who was sacked from the Cabinet in February over armoured car scandal.

While Dr. Suleiman Abubakar who is from Kwara state is expected to replace Malam Bolaji Abdulahi, the former Minister of Sports who was recently fired by the president.

President Jonathan also nominated Mrs Chinelo Anohu-Amaju for confirmation as the Director General of National Pension Commission PENCOM.

African Examiner reports that all the names of the nominees have been forwarded to the senate for confirmation.
