Another attack on President Goodluck Jonathan’s campaign convoy in Katsina has been repeated Thursday in Bauchi, as some hoodlums take after the train as it touches down for continuation of his campaign.
As it occurred in Katsina, today’s attack coincided with President Jonathan campaign which entered the Northern’s part of the county this week.
AFRICAN EXAMINER gathered that the youths who pelted stones, satchet water and other dangerous weapons at the personalities, have earlier gained entrance into Ibrahim Babangida Square venue of the State’s Presidential rally, chanting pro – Jonathan songs, but later went wild, when the rally proper began.
FCT Minister, Senator Bala Mohammed, received the highest embarrassment as he was stoned and pelted with sachet water by the protesting youths. All effort to persuade and stop them by him and security operatives failed.
Senator Mohammed who was further embarrassed in the presence of President Jonathan as his repeated slogan Nigeria! was replied with, deafening response, sai Buhari, and Bama yi, expressions that signified support to Buhari and rejection to PDP.
The Minister, while the commotion lasted at a very rowdy and brief rally blamed the attack on the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC).
