Kogi Guber: Gov. Wada Fails Electronic Accreditation

The incumbent Kogi State Governor, Idris Wada could not do electronic accreditation Saturday morning, when he reached his polling unit, ahead of voting.

Wada was subsequently given the incident form in line with the Electoral act and did the manual accreditation.

His wife was however able to use the card reader and was accredited.

The development did not go down well with Governor Wada, who expressed shock about the no-functioning of most of the card readers in his polling unit and limited incident forms, saying all eyes was on Nigeria on the election which is now underway.

Election is ongoing in the 21 Local Government areas of the North central State. Incumbent Wada is the candidate of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), while Prince Audu Ogbe also a former Governor of the State is the flagbearer of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
