Man Dies During Sex Rumpus With Prostitute In Aba

Ignatius Okpara, Lagos

A middle age man, identified as Ogadinma Chukwu, on Thursday lost his life while satisfying his sexual urge with a  commercial sex worker at a popular brothel, called New Nigeria City Hotel, located along Saint. Michael’s road, Aba, Abia state.

A close Source to the brothel told African Examiner that the deceased who is a   regular visitor to the prostitutes, died while on top of a sex worker.

Our correspondent gathered that immediately Chukwu slumped and died, the prostitute contacted her colleagues and the manager of the brothel who immediately moved his corpse to a sanitary lane at the back of the brothel.

As a result of the development, shop owners around the area quickly closed their businesses for fear of police arrest.

Some of them who spoke to our correspondent under condition of anonymity, hinted that some staff of the brothel at about 5pm brought out the corpse through their backyard, adding that they dropped it at the sanitary lane and disappeared.

Meanwhile, at the time of filling this report, the brothel was still deserted, just as people gathered at the adjoining Streets, such as Michael,s road, by York street junction and Hospital road discussing the issue.

A cross section of sympathisers at the area said the deceased may have died of a cardiac arrest or exhaustion as white foam gushed out of his mouth.

However, Policemen from the Aba Central Police Station (CPS), who conducted a search at the scene, recovered an ATM card, a cheque book, cash of over N200, 000 and a Man ‘O’ War Association of Nigeria identity card, bearing the name, Ogadinma Chukwu from pocket of the deceased.

The Commander, Man ‘O’ War Association, Aba, Uche Egbuziem, when contacted, said the late Chukwu was a former member of the Association, stressing that the deceased and some other members of the defunct group still use their old Identity Cards.

Efforts by our correspondent to get reaction of the Abia state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), ASP Geoffrey Ogbonna, on the incident hit the rock as he was said to be out of the state for an official assignment.

But a senior police officer said the corpse has been deposited in a mortuary, saying  an autopsy may be conducted to determine the real cause of the man’s sudden death.
