Mimiko moves to reverse revocation of OSUTECH license

Ondo state governor Dr. Olusegun Mimiko has promised to ensure that the withdrawal of the
license of the Ondo State University of Technology (OSUTECH) Okitipupa by the National
University Commission (NUC) is reversed.

He stated this over the weekend at a Biripo nite organised by the state government to
showcase the rich Ikale tradition.

The governor said he would ensure the take off of the school by appointing a Vice Chancellor
and constituted chairman and members of
the governing council within two weeks.

Mimiko also assured the people of the area that the state government would do everything
possible to ensure that their institution takes off without hitch, adding that last week withdrawal
of OSUTECH licence by NUC came to him as a surprise.
