National Security: Okiro Launches Red Alert Movie Series

The Chairman of the Police Service Commission (PSC) and former IGP Sir Mike Mbama Okiro on Tuesday in Abuja launched a 33 episode movie series entitled “Red Alert”.

Red Alert is a conscious, pragmatic and painstaking effort by Sir Mike Okiro to bring to bare his wealth of experience in security matters to educate Nigerians on how to be security conscious in all their day to day activities especially at this period when the nation is faced with security challenges.

The movie is an adaptation of one of his books “Overcoming Security Challenges”. It exposes the loopholes in homes and the society at large that give room to insecurity and gullibility. Sir Mike is the executive producer of the movie series which was greatly applauded by the invitees.

Among the dignitaries that graced the occasion were the Inspector General of Police Mohammed Dahiru Abubakar, Chairman Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) Mr Ekpo Nta, former Deputy Governor of Abia State Mr Chris Akomas, former Chairman of the PSC Mr Simon Okeke.
