Rising from its extra ordinary Congress Saturday, The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has slated its elective congress for Tuesday, September 30, 2014, in Warri, Delta state, South South Nigeria.
The decision congress which was presided over by the outgoing President Aminu Maigari had in attendance as obsevers the Sports Minister, Tammy Danagogo, Director General, National Sports Commission, Bolaji Ojo-Oba as well as Alhassan Yakmut. The trio were represented at the pre-election meeting.
In line with the FIFA regulation and as announced in the programme, the congress inaugurated an electoral as well as electoral appeals committees.
The glass house Scribe, Ahmadu Musa however clarified that contrary to the speculation that the congress has been asked to be put on hold, owing to a court ruling, the meeting held, as the NFF leadership was not so served by any court.
