Oba of Lagos Warns AIG Mbu, Says “Lagos Is Not Port Harcourt”

Oba of Lagos, Rilwan Akiolu has warned the newly posted AIG Joseph Mba and any police officers against any sinister motive in Lagos state during ‎the forthcoming elections saying such moves will be resisted.

Speaking while receiving Gen. Buhari and his entourage at his palace during APC presidential campaign rally in Lagos, the Oba also advised that police posting should not be political.

His words: “I want to sound it as a note of warning to all the security officials in the state.

“Politicians don’t quarrel but they can disagree often. Recently, I have had some comments over the posting of police in the country.

“Posting of policemen is normal when election is approaching.

“But if anyone comes into Lagos with any sinister motive, by the grace of God, he will have himself to blame.

“The posting of police officers shouldn’t be made a political issue.

“Posting comes normally, Lagos is not Port Harcourt. No one should express any fear.”
