Security Foils Gun Attack in Misau Town, Bauchi

Unknown Gunmen in a convoy of three Hilux vehicles stormed Misau Town, in Bauchi State, in a bid to unleash Mayhem on the Populace in the area.

African Examiner gathered that it took the effort of a combined security forces comprising the Police and Military who were on red alert, that engaged the hoodlums in a fierce gun battle, which forced them to jettison their mission and escaped with bullet wounds.

Confirming the Incident, Bauchi State Police Public Relations Officer, Haruna Mohammed, said the incident occurred around 23:30pm on Wednesday.

He added that the Joint Security Forces are on their trail as the entire area was cordoned off in an effort to get the fleeing suspects arrested and to unravel their motive.

The spokesman urged the public to remain calm and report suspect or strange persons seen in their communities to security agents.
