Siasia may be named new Super Eagles Manager
There are strong indications that Super Eagles ex international Samson Siasia
may be announced as the new manager of the Super Eagles following a
collective decision after a meeting involving top officials of the Nigeria Football
Fedeeration in Johannesburg last weekend.
The NFF officials decided to make a clean break from the current group of
technical crew and go for a fresh start, with Siasia emerging as a strong favorite.
John Obuh, who coached the silver winning U-17 in Nigeria last year, is
expected to be his assistant.
The NFF had wanted to keep Lars Lagerback and offered the Swede the job
but the Federation would not be able to afford his wages due to their financial
situation.
However, rumbling within the NFF executive members may delay the
announcement of Siasia as certain members are not happy with the choice of
the former U-21 silver winning coach, who is seen as been too independent
minded and uncompromising.

comments = I think Siasia should be giving a chance if he's got what it takes.
so far he's proved he has the mettle to handle the situation. for once lets go all
out to support one of our own.

The truth is that Samson Siasia identifies and recognises the need of making
the best out of the numerous existing local and grassroop players. Based on
this, he should be given a chance without much-a-do. Again with fear or favour
he knows those that should feature at the national team. Moreso, he tells the
truth and knows what he wants and how to go about. He don't compromise evil
for good. Pleas feel free to appoint him.
