Transparency International Set to Publish Reports on Corruption in
Nigeria, Others

Transparency International (TI), the civil society organization leading the fight
against corruption, is set to publish its reports on corruption in Nigeria and 68
other countries around the world.
According to the organization, the report highlights everyday experiences with
bribery, people’s views on private sector corruption and corruption levels in six
institutions namely political parties, public officials/civil servants,
parliaments/legislature, business, judiciary and media.
The reports will be officially released June 3rd, 2009 at a press conference in
International Press Centre – Passage Room Rue de la Loi 155 - Bloc C 1040
Brussels, Belgium
Apart from Nigeria, other countries that are included in the reports are:-
Argentina, Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bolivia, Bosnia and Herzegovina,
Brunei Darussalam, Bulgaria, Cambodia, Cameroon, Canada.
They are Chile, Colombia, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, El Salvador, Finland,
FYR Macedonia, Georgia, Ghana, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, India,
Indonesia, Iraq, Israel, Italy, Japan.
Other are Kenya, Kosovo, Kuwait, Lebanon, Liberia, Lithuania, Luxembourg,
Malaysia, Moldova, Mongolia, Morocco, Netherlands, Norway, Pakistan, Panama,
Peru, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Senegal, Serbia, Sierra
Leone, Singapore.
Also, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey, Uganda, Ukraine, United
Kingdom, United States, Venezuela, and Zambia.
