Troops Discover; Destroy Suspected Terrorists’ Rocket Factory In Borno

The troops of 111 Special Forces Battalion, 7 Division Garrison Nigerian Army, Tuesday during a raid operation at Delwa general area, discovered and knocked out Boko Haram terrorists’ rocket factory at Jamrari, Borno State.
Defence Headquarters (DHQ) said Wednesday that the development was a setback for the terrorists who fabricate rockets and their launchers with rudimentary materials.
The discovery, Military held has further “crippled the terrorists and greatly emboldened the troops in carrying out more offensive actions against” the militants in their havens.
In the meantime, the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Tukur Yusufu Buratai, has commended the troops for the raid, as well as other similar feats.
He encouraged the soldiers to do more, so as to conquer the terrorists, who he said “are on the verge of being defeated”.
