US Election: Trump Commends Clinton; Pledges To Be President Of All American Citizens

BALTIMORE, MD (AFRICAN EXAMINER) – US President-elect Mr. Donald Trump has commended his rival Mrs. Hilary Clinton over her diligence and service to America.
Trump made the commendation early Wednesday, minutes after winning one of the most divisive and keenly contested US elections.
Mr. Trump in his acceptance remarks acknowledged that Mrs. Clinton has worked very long and very hard over a long period of time, and Americans owe her a major debt of gratitude for her service to the country.
He also appreciated that Mrs. Clinton has called and congratulated ‘’us’’ on his victory.
Mr. Trump also pledged he would be the President of ‘’every citizen of our land’’.
In the meantime, Russian Mr. President Vladimir Putin has congratulated Trump on his victory. He said he hoped to work with him to improve relations.
In a statement, Putin expressed hope for mutual work on bringing US-Russia relations out of their critical condition, adding that building constructive dialogue would be in the interest of both countries and the world community.
