(AFRICAN EXAMINER) – Peter Obi’s popularity and political pull have continued to go deep into the hearts of many citizens as a young lady had to let go of her life’s savings to wish the Labour Party presidential aspirant on.

According to available information, on Tuesday, a young girl, identified as Covenant Onyebuchi Okereke, made use of the opportunity of Peter Obi’s visit to an Enugu radio station to contribute her own little quota to support his campaign.

The girl, who lives in the neighborhood, stated that the savings she handed over are not only about the money but her blessings, which she prayed for over time.

She said: “I have been saving for this. Yesterday, I prayed to God that I wanted to bless a humble man. Today, I heard that Peter Obi was on Urban radio. I live in the neighborhood so I decided to see if I could meet him. God has answered my prayers because I am about to bless a humble man even though I have no name.”
