Anambra: Obiano Thrashes Ngige, Obi, Obaze, Chidoka in their LGAs

(AFRICAN EXAMINER) – Minister of Labour and Employment , Dr. Chris Ngige, immediate past governor of Anambra state, Mr. Peter Obi, and peoples Democratic party PDP candidate , Chief Osaeloka Obaze, have lost in their respective local government areas in the governorship election held in Anambra state on Saturday.

Also humiliated in his council area Idemili North, is the United People’s party, UPP candidate, chief Osita Chidoka.

The All progressive Grand Alliance APGA candidate and incumbent governor of the state, chief Willy Obiano, won in all the 11 out of the 21 local government areas announced so far by the returning officers for the various local governments.

While Ngige, hails from Alor in Idemili South council area, Obi is from Anaocha local government.

The PDP candidate, Obaze is from Ogbaru local government area. Obiano won landslide in all the 11 council areas released so far.
