Breaking News: Taraba Guber Poll Declared Inconclusive

After a long delay, the Taraba State Returning Officer of the Saturday Governorship election, Professsor Muhammad Kyari has declared the exercise inconclusive.
Professor Kyari made the declaration Monday, in Jalingo, the Taraba state capital after the arrival of the last local government – Sadauna.
The reason he adduced, was similar to Imo’s situation as he explained that the number of canceled votes was above the gap between APC candidate, Aisha Alhassan, who came second and the PDP standard bearer, Darius Dickson Ishaku who was in the lead.
Ishaku polled a total of votes 297,552 from nine of the 14 local government areas of the State as against his rival, Alhassan, who scored 234, 122 votes
Already, INEC had cancelled result of Election from Donga local government area.
A total of 37,069 and 10,087 votes were polled by the PDP and APC respectively.
