Buhari’s Minister Sick, Flown to US for Medical Treatment

(AFRICAN EXAMINER) – Just as President Muhammadu shuttled between Nigeria and United Kingdom for medical attention in London hospital, his minister state for education, Prof Anthony Anwukah is said to be sick and currently hospitalised in the United States.
The Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu, disclosed this during a press briefing on the 2017 World Teachers’ Day in Abuja.
African Examiner’s correspondent reports that Minister however did not disclose the ailment for which Prof Anwukah is hospitalised, but asked those at the event to rise for a prayer for the speedy recovery of the Minister of state.
“Please permit me to ask us to say a minute prayer for the Minister of state who is away in the U.S to receive medical treatment.” Mr. Adamu said immediately after the introduction of key officials of his ministry at the briefing.
