Campaign Funds: Court Orders NCC, Telecom Firms To Pay APC N500 Million

A Federal High Court in Lagos has ordered the Nigerian Communications Commission and other 5 telecom company to pay the All Progressives Congress N500m for unlawfully shutting down the party’s presidential campaign fund-raising platform.
Justice Ibrahim Buba gave the order on Tuesday in Lagos.
The affected telecom companies are Etisalat, MTN, Globacom, Airtel Nigeria and Visafone Communications Limited.
