ABUJA, NIGERIA (AFRICAN EXAMINER) – The embattled Senate President Bukola Saraki Thursday debunked the speculation on his exit from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) .
One of his media aides Bamikole Omishore in a statement, confirmed that the National Assembly (NASS) Chairman’s media team was very much aware about the report and noticed how it went viral on different social media platforms.
Saraki who described the report as fabrication and “entirely untrue” declared that he was committed to the APC; a party that he reiterated helped midwife and worked for to victory in the 2015 elections.
Saraki assumed that the speculation might not be unconnected to his presence at the end of session event of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) caucus yesterday (Wednesday) evening.
While clarifying that he only spent 30 minutes before the party broke into session, Senator Saraki assured Nigerians that he was committed to the APC-led government and appreciated the confidence reposed in him and the party during the last general elections.
