Emir Sanusi Warns Social Media Impersonators, Says He Has No Online Account

Inundated with barrages of false messages credited to him and posted on different social media handles, the recently enthroned Emir of Kano, Mallam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi has warned the mischief makers to stop the unfolding antics.
Emir Snausi clarified that contrary to the impression widely created, he did not have any social media account.
His clarification which was in a press statement and signed by the Dan Majen Kano – Munnir Sanusi, of the Kano Emirate Council, urged those responsible for the deceits to desist from posting statements on social media in his name.
The Emir’s aide declared that the mischief makers were all out to denigrate the person of the Paramount monarch by posting misleading statements on various social media handles, citing instance of a post on purported Emir’s Facebook account awarding free Hajj to 400 Nigerian pilgrims.
The Emir has since denied such allocation ever coming from him or the Emirate under his leadership.
