FG Declares October 1 Independence Anniversary Holiday

The Federal Government has declared next week Wednesday, October 1, 2014 as public holiday to mark the country’s 54th Independence Anniversary.
In a statement Thursday by the Minister of Interior, Abba Moro, Federal Government congratulated all Nigerians for witnessing another anniversary of the nation’s freedom from her British colonial masters.
He therefore urged all Nigerians to build a more united and virile nation.
