Former UK Prime Minister, Blair Arrives Cairo to End Gaza War

The prevalent skirmish between the Israel and Palestine may soon cease as the United Kingdom (UK) former Prime Minister and Mideast Quartet Envoy, Tony Blair arrived in Cairo Saturday for parleys with the stakeholders.
Blair, who is representing the European Union, Russia, United Nations and United States, is expected to hold talks with Egyptian officials to push for termination of the bloody Gaza fight in which Israeli air raids have killed more than 125 Palestinians this week alone.
Several previous mediation initiatives between the Hamas and Israel, at the instance of Egypt have failed, a situation that had heightened tension in most parts of the world.
The Abdel Fattah al-Sisi – led Egyptian government, has in the main time opted for “a hands-off approach” to end the conflict in Gaza despite cold relationship with Hamas.
