Former Minister Of Works, Senator Isaiah Balat Is Dead
Born October 23, 1952, Isaiah Chawai Balat is a Nigerian politician and business man from Kaduna State who was Senator for Kaduna South from May 2003 to May 2007.
Isaiah Chawai Balat was born in Gora, a village in Zangon Kataf local government Area of Kaduna State, Nigeria. Losing his mother as an infant, he had to live with his grandmother until he was old enough to fend for himself.
He later left the village and moved to the city to make a living. After his primary and post-primary education, he attended a programme in Marketing at the Kaduna Polytechnic between 1976 and 1978. Later he attended the Advanced Management Program at the Harvard Business School and the college of Petroleum and Energy Studies at Oxford, United Kingdom
