Governor Orji Condoles Anambra Govt over Deaths of 27 Worshipers

Abia State Governor, Chief Theodore Orji, has condoled the government and people of Anambra State over the unfortunate deaths of 27 worshipers that occurred last Saturday, when a stampede broke out at a crusade organised by Rev. Father Emmanuel Obinma of the Holy Ghost Adoration Ministry.
In a letter of condolence to Governor Peter Obi signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Charles Ajunwa, Governor Orji who said he was saddened by the untimely deaths of the worshipers and the injured, however, prayed that the injured recuperates fast while he prayed for the souls of the departed to rest in perfect peace.
He said as a government, the people of Abia State would continue to offer prayers for the families of those who lost their loved ones including the injured who he said went to seek divine healing from God Almighty.
The people of Anambra State, according to Governor Orji, should see what happened as an act of God.
