Gunmen Stormed UNILAG, Shot Undergraduate Student

Tragedy struck at the University of Lagos (UNILAG) on Monday as an undergraduate of the institution was shot in head by unknown gunmen.
African Examiner correspondent gathered that Sapara was found lying on his face at King Jaja Hall of the ivory tower by fellow students in pool of blood early Monday morning.
The student who is in the department of Philosophy was rescued by co boarders by rushing him to the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH), Idi-Araba.
Our source indicated that attempt was made to track down the suspected gunmen but to no avail.
Sapara according to the institution’s Dean, Students’ Affairs, Professor Olukayode Amund was responding to treatment in the hospital. He also confirmed the shooting but said the root cause of the attack was yet be unraveled.
