Jonathan Condoles El–Rufai on Son’s Death

President Goodluck Jonathan has sent a condolence message to the Former Minister of Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Mallam Nasir El-Rufai on the death of his son, Hamzat early Tuesday morning in an auto crash in Abuja.

The President lamented that he received the news with a deep sense of grief and shock.

Mr. President in a statement issued today by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Dr. Reuben Abati stated on behalf of himself, his family and the Federal Government, extended his heartfelt commiserations to Mallam el-Rufai and members of his family.

The President who noted no amount of words could fill the deep gap created by the Hamzat’s loss, noted the outpouring of support at this moment from friends and associates would comfort the ex – Minister. He prayed for the peaceful repose of the departed soul.
