Man Butchers Wife Over Infidelity In Delta

The Police in Delta State has arrested a middle aged man, identified as Mr. Michael Akpore, of Urhiephron, in Ughelli South council Area of the state, for allegedly killing his 32 years old wife, Julie, over allegation of infidelity.
According to the state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Mrs Celestina Kalu,who disclosed this in a statement Wednesday in Asaba the state capital, explained the suspect, reported and handed over himself to the Jeremi Police Division after the strange act.
The State Police image maker, disclosed that the husband of the deceased had lured her to the bush along Iwhrekan/Ekakpamren Road, where he allegedly butchered her.
“He killed his wife because she confessed that she was having extra marital affairs”, Kalu revealed.
She added: “He was promptly arrested; the crime scene was visited, the corpse of the woman recovered and deposited at the Jeremi Hospital Mortuary for autopsy.”
