Medical Doctor Found Dead In His Car In Anambra

(AFRICAN EXAMINER) – The Anambra State police Command says it has commenced investigation into the mystery surrounding the death of a medical doctor, Dr Okpe Casmir Ikechukwu, who was murdered and dumped in his car last week Wednesday.

The car was found at Ichi Girls secondary school bus stop in Ekwusigo Council Area of Anambra State.

According to the police, the lifeless body of the deceased was reportedly discovered by a passer-by who made a video of it and posted online.

The video showed Dr Okpe’s Identity Card and the vehicle plate number DX 138 LSD.

His Identity Card with staff number, NAUTH/RES/199/97 showed that the late Doctor was a Supernumerary Resident doctor at Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital, Nnewi.

The Anambra State Police Spokesman, DSP Tochukwu Ikenga who confirmed the ugly incident to Newsmen in Awka yesterday said: “A lot of mysteries are yet to be unraveled concerning the suspected murder case.

He appealed to any one with useful information on the development to avail the police with such information.
