Police Arrest DELSU Undergraduate Over Firearm Possession

Delta State Police Command has arrested a 500 level male undergraduate of the State owned University, (DELSU), Abraka, identified as Ode Victor.

The State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Celestina Kalu, who made this known to newsmen Friday in Asaba, the state capital, said the student was apprehended at Abbi community, in Ndokwa West local government area of Delta.

She said that the suspect was arrested following a tip off after he allegedly hid the firearms under a tricycle on a ride with his friends.

According to Kalu, “On January 27, 2016 at about 3.20pm, detectives attached to Kwale Division in conjunction with vigilantes while acting on a tip off, arrested one Ode Victor, male, a 5th year Business Administration student of DELSU Abraka
