Police Nab Four Notorious Luxury Bus Robbers In Enugu

The Enugu State Police Command have arrested four notorious armed robbery bandits belonging to the gang that recently attacked and robbed passengers in a luxury bus at Obolo-Afor in Udenu council area of the state.
Disclosing this on Monday to newsmen, via a statement, the state Police Public Relations Officer PPRO, Mr. Ebere Amaraizu, said that the four armed robbery suspects were apprehended through the assistance of Agume police operatives of Kogi State Command.
According to him, one of the suspects was first arrested, “and following his confession, the Special Anti Robbery Squad, SARS, operatives stormed Iwollo in Ezeagu Local Government Area of Enugu State, where some of his gang members were arrested for robbing at 9th Mile in Udi Local Government Area.
The command spokesman said four camouflage uniforms, believed to be that of the force; National Youth Service Corp, NYSC, uniform; one locally made single-barreled gun and five cartridges were recovered.
