Police Nab Six Notorious Robbers In Enugu

From Ignatius Okpara, Enugu – The Enugu state police command on Friday smashed a notorious six man armed robbery gang that have been terrorising the state and its environs.
According to the state police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Ebere Amarizu, who disclosed this to African Examiner in Enugu, said the hoodlums were nabbed by operatives of Uwani Division of the command.
He said: “the suspected Armed Robbers have been wrecking havoc within Uwani and its environs”
The Command spokesman, gave their names as Monday Ojah, chibuike Duhu, Onyeka Abuchi NwekeIbe Ifeanyichukwu, Malachy, Ugo and Chinonso Eze.
“They were nabbed by the operatives following a tip off about their nefarious activities ranging from armed robbery as well as cultism amongst others
“The suspects are helping the operatives in their investigations, adding that in their response, the suspects confirmed that they are members of the JVC Confraternity cult group.
“They went further to reveal how they usually rob their victims by pointing gun and inflicting fear on their victims.
“They further disclosed that it was when they were coming back from cult initiations that they robbed their victim on the day they were arrested,” said Amarizu
