Saheed and Fathia Balogun in Court Over Surname

Popular Nollywood actor, Saheed Balogun has dragged his ex-wife actress Fathia Balogun to court over the use of his surname ‘Balogun’, insisting that she stop using the name. The union which produced three children lasted for many years before ending few years ago.

Saheed has been trying to get Fathia revert to her maiden name, but Fathia insist she became popular using that name and has no plan to drop the name.

In an interview she granted in 2011, Fathia said “my name is Fathia Balogun and its going to remain for life. Nobody can ever change that or stop me from answering that name.”
