“To our knowledge, their death was as a result of frustration, following the prolonged strike, because they were not diagnosed of any disease, and they have been living healthy lives.” Magaji declares

The student leader also attributed the involvement of undergraduate students in crimes and other social-vices nationwide to the prolonged nationwide strike of the University lecturers.

He regretted that that two students of the institution were recently nabbed in Lagos over bank robbery also blaming the incident on the ASUU strike.

According to him, the reason why there are so many crises in education is due to lack of Federal Government’s sincerity to genuinely fund the educational sector.
